Is Your Business Up to Date?

By January 17, 2013December 12th, 2022Insurance

It’s 2013 and the new year has brought some changes in legislation with it. Some of theses changes often impact insurance policies for business, either directly or indirectly. Whether you have insurance for protecting your equipment, auto fleet, or other business liability, now is a great time for an evaluation of your coverage. You may find that coverage changes are needed due to industry changes, regulation, or increases or decreases in areas of your own business.

So while you’re doing budget plans, don’t forget about insurance to protect your investments throughout the year. Ask yourself how your business has grown in the last year. Is everything covered? There may be changes you don’t know about. Legislation is one particular factor that can be hard for many business owners to keep track of. It makes sense to take this time and ask your insurance agent whether new laws, taxes, and conditions have impacted your policy, or how they may affect you.

As always, here at Freedom Insurance, we’re here to help out. If you are currently with us and considering changing or upgrading your plan, or just have questions about your policy and the new year’s expectations for your business, feel free to give us a call. Or if you need a new policy and are looking to start out this year with the kind of business insurance that will give you the peace of mind and confidence your business needs all year long, you’ve come to the right place.
